I attended a workshop last year where we wrote our insecurities and negative self-perceptions and released them.
After having a couple of reoccurring dreams, I knew it was time to redo it. I wrote formerly negative self-perceptions into positive statements onto strips of papers and burned them to release them. I then took the ashes and spread them on the ground outside. It felt great, and I felt lighter afterwards.
It’s human nature not to realize how powerful negative thoughts can be – replacing them with positive affirmations makes them even more powerful but in a positive manner.
